Trainee – Finance

TEAM/PROGRAMME: Finance Department

The position holder will be responsible to support remittance execution, scheduling tax payments and audit facilitation.


Reports to: Finance Coordinator- Reconciliation

Dimensions: Save the Children works in 57 districts of Nepal and nationally in Bhutan with a current staff complement of approximately 400 staff and current expenditure of approximately $US 35 million each year.

  • Upload audit sampled document in online portal as per checklist
  • Collect audit related transactions from relevant field offices and partner offices
  • Check availability of documents uploaded by field office/ partners for audit are as per the checklist.
  • Arrange to keep documents processed via procurement system in shared folder and provide to auditors.
  • Assist Provide the sampled documents to auditors as required
  • Support on refiling the vouchers and invoices after completion of audit.
  • Assist to do e-filing of vouchers and other relevant documents for paperless working modality
  • Assist on preparation of tax schedules and payment on weekly basis
  • Assist on remittance proposal run
  • Match the settled transaction in the system with the guidance from line manager.
  • Others task as delegated by line manager.
